Tal’s Experiences in Georgia
1. lack of market need! 2. Invest in teams, not just ideas!
If anything could be more clear, these would be the main 2 points that resonated in Georgia Investment Ecosystem Conference Vol.3, organized by Axel.
The 1st is the main reason startups fail, and the 2nd one is what investors need to consider.
📌 Recapping my visit to Tbilisi:
– Meeting with old and new friends and colleagues, always a pleasure, as well as touring the city and enjoying its many sights and delicacies, was amazing.
– Congrats Axel for your 3 years anniversary and for successfully making the conference practical, educational and memorable. Iro Tsagareishvili, Tekla Gugushvili, Anastasia Napetvaridze, Guri Koiava.
– Well done to 500 Global for your profound contribution in promoting the local startup scene. Kudos Pedro Vieira and your professional team.
– Kudos to all the parties supporting the startup ecosystem in Georgia as well as to you dear startupers, you deserve it!
– Conducting my session during the conference, a workshop with startup founders, panel discussion about commercialization, as well as presenting the opening and closing speech of the conference.
In conclusion, I felt a different vibe this time, one of determination and hunger to win, to be the best, to make an impact (possibly because of the win over Portugal).

Women Empowerment Conference 2018
Sharing some moments, vibs and energy from the women empowerment conference. By now I realize, women are excellent facilitators of change, as they seem more agile and less ego driven. #Femtech is an excellent way to get women involved in startups, knowing about both the need and users, first hand.
I thank #GITA and Mariam Lashkhi for inviting me and for facilitating this awesome event. I’m confident there’s more to come soon.
